Peter is a Treasury Specialist with 20 years working experience in the Banking sector. Peter is currently the Treasury Director, Absa Bank Uganda Limited and is a member of the Country Management Committee (CMC). Prior to joining Absa Bank Uganda Limited, Peter was Head of Treasury, Equity Bank Uganda Limited. Peter also held various senior management positions within Treasury, Managing Director’s Office and Operations in KCB Bank Uganda Limited and Citibank Uganda Limited.
Peter holds a Master’s degree in Banking & Investment and a Bachelor of Science (Statistics, Economics and Mathematics) First Class (Hons) degree from Makerere University Kampala. Peter also holds an ACI Dealing Certificate and is a member of the ACI Uganda Dealers Association.
Away from work, Peter practices farming and is also a leader in his Sub Parish Church. He enjoys cycling and is also an ardent fan of Soccer, Tennis, Formula 1 and Athletics.
