Benjamin Mukiibi has extensive experience in insurance and pensions. He has more than a decade of functional experience and expertise in corporate risk management, research and strategy.
Currently, he heads the Research and Strategy Directorate at the Uganda Retirement Benefits Regulatory Authority, working on the design and management of research projects geared towards retirement policy reforms, decisions and implementation of pension coverage initiatives.
He also leads the Authority’s Corporate Strategy Team, and is in charge of project inputs for improved regulation and supervision of the Technical Committee of the International Organization of Pension Supervisors.
Previously he was involved in setting up and delivering social and economic development on projects implemented on behalf of the British Department for International Development (now UK Aid), the German Development Agency (GiZ), the World Bank (WB), and the European Union (EU)
